Q:  How are financial contributions from business and individual donors utilized by the MCLC?

A:  Donations are used to help defray operating expenses, including the cost of our literacy education programs and learning materials. Every year we depend on our business and individual donors to help insure that we can maintain the quality of our literacy programs.

Q:  Are there other ways that I can help the MCLC?

A:  Definitely. The MCLC participates in a number of fundraising events every year – check the Events section of our website on a regular basis for the latest news on upcoming events. Of course our most popular fundraising event each year is our annual Spelling Bee for Literacy. In addition to being our biggest single fundraising event, it is also a very entertaining and hilarious mid-winter evening for area residents.
