Memorial and Honorary Gifts
MCLC encourages you to consider making a gift to memorialize a loved one or to honor someone’s life and achievements. Your donation in the name of a relative, friend, or co-worker may be the perfect gift to celebrate a birthday, holiday, anniversary, or special event of those who are blessed with abundance. Send your gift to MCLC, PO  Box 1966, Southern Pines, NC, 28388, or make it on-line by pressing the Donate button. All gifts will be acknowledged, with a note to the recipient and to the donor.

Book Donations
We welcome your gently used books in good shape and your gift of new books. We want people to read, and we especially want children to experience reading in their home. So we give away children’s books on Christmas morning a Project Santa in Southern Pines; we partner with the Vass Lions Club and place books in baskets in a variety of sites in Vass; we provide each new Habitat for Humanity family with a bookshelf of age and interest appropriate books; and we share books with agencies like the Moore Free Clinic, the Community Action Project, and Northern Moore Family Resource Center. You can donate books by dropping them off at the Read Moore Center. Call before you come to make sure we are here to receive them.
